8;57 Luka goes to the bench and in rapid order shit hits the fan. It started with Jaylen getting and making 4 free throws then a Tatum three bounces in to make it 25-19.

927 In the middle of the 2nd quarter a Tatum vs Kyrie game has broken out. It’s been fucking insane, capped off with the double crossover step back from Kyrie to give him 20. On the next possession Tatum drive to the basket to give him 18. Oh these dudes better guard Hauser cause he is not missing any threes tonight.
9:41 Not gonna lie it’s 51-50 Mavs leading at halftime but it feels like the Celtics are going to win this game let alone the series. It’s just so much work for the Mavs to even make anything happen while there have been multiple Celtics that could be better.
957 Jrue, Jaylen and Tatum are just taking over and there’s not shit the Mavs can do 6-6 to start off the the third quarter for the Celtics. They go up 5 right after the half.

10:08 The Mavs staved off a run to keep it semi close. Now we’re reaching the point where the Finals gets uber physical. To the point where I think Gafford just got out his helmet and shoulder pads. This is also leading to extreme complaining to the refs which you know Luka is leading but they all have a point to be honest.

10:18 Holy Fuck Jaylen AGAIN. The crossover dunk to put the Celtics up 85-70 actually had me jump out of my couch. The “People’s MVP” Might have just become the “Finals MVP.”
10:34 The lead is down to 11 but it feels like the Celtics are just gonna put the Mavs away any second now. But I’m getting a little excited.

10:45 Just as the Mavs cut the game to 3, Luka gets foul number 5 by hooking his arm with Jaylen’s. I thought they were both doing the hook but still it’s 93-90 he’s just gotta relax.
10:49 Homie could not chill the fuck out. Jaylen drives right at Luka for foul number 6 and u can tell that was the entire intention with the fist bump after they called it. A few possessions later we get a moving screen call on PJ Washington. That’s directly followed by the Celtics hitting a three to make it 98-92. Sucks the refs had to play a part in this even though I don’t think the calls were terrible.
10:54 Kyrie is now trying to be Superman and has somehow cut the lead down to 100-98 off a nice dime to Lively.
1055 Jaylen ends all of it with 30 and jumper TO THE LEFT to seal the game and make it 102-98 with 30 seconds left. I never thought Jaylen could be the best player on the court with Luka and Kyrie out there but tonight he proved me wrong.
There was just no doubt that he continued to end every run the Mavs had and start them in the 2nd half for the Celtics. It was a hell of a game form Jaylen and he needs to be stamped as Finals MVP.
